Softwarin Systems Limited was incorporated in 1993.

Director Steve Warin has been in the computer business since 1980, primarily as a systems analyst and programmer but also encompassing support, training, hardware and software installation, system administration and software testing.

Softwarin Systems specialise in multi-user database applications. We produce sophisticated systems with a solid dependable feel. Particular attention is paid to ensuring the integrity of your data and user interfaces are designed for maximum ease of use. To ensure the best performance when handling large amounts of data we use the Microsoft® Visual FoxPro™ database management system. This uses a technology called Rushmore to optimize data retrieval performance.

Clients range from small local businesses to multi-national corporations. Our experience includes designing database applications for Lloyd's Register of Shipping, Mobil Shipping, Mercedes Benz, the Milk Marketing Board, and many more.

Applications we have authored range from the simple (e.g. stock control systems) to the highly technical (e.g. calculating what chemicals can safely be carried in which cargo tanks of a chemical tanker).
